This year for a lot of people will be their last in high school including the Seniors in the high school percussion section.

A lot of them will be missed, there’s not a lot of them but they are all just as important as anyone else in the group.

The seniors in percussion are Javier Alcantar, Javier Arellano, Reed Bennett, and Byron Diaz.

Javier Alcantar usually plays snare as his main instrument but he can play a lot of others as well.

Javier Arellano usually plays Bass drum out of everything he can play.

Reed Bennett and Byron Diaz both play Tenors even though they  can play a lot of other instruments as well. 

James Mitsuyasu is the percussion director as well as the band director. He knows how to play a lot of different instruments and really knows what he’s doing when it comes to making music and choosing what we play.
