Valentine’s Day is a day where you can show love and affection to your loved ones. Since Valentine’s Day is around the corner, will our current EHS students do anything on that day?

According to WalletHub.com, men will spend almost twice as much as a woman, on average for Valentine  Day. This seems true for EHS students as well.

Some sophomores and juniors said “I’m going to buy a special gift for my boy/girl friend”.

Some even say they’re going to buy gifts for their parents who don’t have a person to spend the day with. Some people are going to spend their Valentine Day or the day before Valentine Day  with their friends, also known as “Galentine’s Day”. So what does Valentine Day mean to them?

“It means that I get to show and tell how special my friends are to me,” An EHS junior said.

According to SheKnows.com, 76 percent prefer to make this a family holiday. “It’s also about celebrating our other loved ones too.”

“A chance I get to say, I love you, to my parents” said another junior.
