Eastmont sent 5 wrestlers to state: Rudy Vivanco, Spencer Housden, Ricky Colunga, Gloria Diaz, and Destiny Burnett.  Rudy, Ricky, and Gloria placed in state.

Rudy Vivanco is a senior in the 120 pound men’s weight class who went 17-5 this year and placed 6th in state.  

Spencer Housden is also a senior in the 195 pound men’s weight class who went 18-11 this year and battling a shoulder injury during state. Coach Tyler McGee said that Spencer wrestled tough, but ultimately did not place in state.

Ricky Colunga is a Sophmore in the 195 pound weight class who went 39-9 this year and placed 6th in state.  He also is a varsity football player.

Gloria Diaz is a junior who wrestles in the 120 pound women’s weight class.  She went 27-9 this year and placed 6th in state.  She won a match in 12 seconds earlier in the season.

Destiny Burnett is a senior who wrestles in the 145 pound women’s weight class.  She went 17-4 and Coach McGee said that Destiny wrestled tough, but ultimately didn’t place for state.
