In the NFL the Green Bay Packers are losing their best quarterback, Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets. This may be good news if you’re a Jets fan but some news for you Packers fans is that they’re getting a replacement quarterback named Jordan Love.

Some of the coaches from EHS had opinions about this trade.

“It’s very rare for a highly paid quarterback to get put on a whole new team and have that team make it to the super bowl”  said head Football Coach Don. 

Assistant Coach Davis also shared his thoughts. 

“I think the packers will lose some talent, but the organization for them should be better in the future.” 

Some people think Aaron Rodgers is too old to still be playing for the NFL, the trade may affect the Jets negatively considering he said he would only play 2-3 more years in the NFL before he retires.

“It will be the downfall for the Packers,” Cody Reister, a sophomore at EHS.
