This last week Eastmont’s very own track and field team traveled to Eisenhower High School twice, on tursday and saturday for districts. The Wildcat track and field team had a very successful 2 days of districts. Many athletes qualified for state and many also finished their season. 

The track and field team will be taking 24 athletes to state this weekend, May 25th through May 27th. State is held in Tacoma at Mt. Tahoma High School.

Many athletes that qualified for state over the two days of districts: Anna Klinkenberg, Ellie Prazer, Noli Johnson, Kaylen Greer, Nez Schumaker, Alex Auvil, Diego Robles, Matthew Bender, Eamon Monahan, Graydon Schneider, Peyton Guest, Tristan Wood, Gunnar Peterson, Helen Schumaker, Rachael Hamilton, Lena Haberlock, Paige Overton, Emma Troxler, Hannah Mikkelsen, Maggie Scaramozzino, Shelby Howe, Sayla Pepple, Lilie Scaramozzino, and Dylan Schmitten.

The teams that qualified for state were the girls 4×400, the boys 4×100, and the girls 4×200. 

All of the athletes are excited to stay in the hotel, play games, have team dinners, and of course compete!
