This year’s dress up days leading up to homecoming has been inventive and has brought new and fundamental ideas to EHS. Every school year here at EHS we come together, and dress up to remember the amusement we as wildcats are so lucky to have.

This years spirit week consists of sidekick day on Monday, color wars for tuesday, jersey day for Wednesday, Barbie vs Oppenheimer for Thursday, and red zone for Friday. The dress up ideas this year have a more creative touch to it like Barbie vs Oppenhiemer.

Here at EHS, Mr. Gillin is in charge of ASB who is in charge of dress up days for spirit week.

Gillin said, ‘My goal of being in charged of ASB is to create a safe climate and working environment for the school, and give students the feeling of wanting to come to school while also wanting to work.’

Sophomore Colby Lara said, ‘’My favorite day of spirit week was Barbie vs Oppenheimer because my brother and I went as opposites. I went as Barbie and he went as Oppenheimer.’’

Towards the end of spirit week, the school gets together and participates in a pep rally to get ready for homecoming which is the day after spirit week is over.

“My favorite part of the assembly was dodgeball because I liked watching people get hit,’’ commented James Driver, Senior.

Spirit week this year was was fun and memorable and we will look back on this some time down the road.
