Instead of projectors, all teachers now have Newline Interactive Whiteboards but, not all teachers have the same opinions on these new boards. Some teachers dislike it and some like it.
One teacher who doesn’t really appreciate the change is Social Studies teacher, Mr. Schmauder.
Mr. Schmauder said, “it doesn’t matter what I think. We are stuck with them. Until our district tech Department starts asking teachers what they actually need in the classroom, we will continually be forced to take on new technologies whether we want them or not.”
English teacher Mr. Garness on the other hand, has embraced the change.
Mr. Garness said, “it is pretty cool, it has more features than the project. It is like a giant I-pad where you can create tabs and open links.”
Students however, are feeling the impact of this change.
Sophomore Sam Wester said, “Things seem to be a little slower as teachers try to figure things out.”
