Pearl Harbor was filmed in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and was directed by Micheal Bay. The movie takes place in Hawaii around 1941, when bombs were dropped on a U.S naval base.

This action-packed film incorporates love during the struggles of WW2 in America, and leaves the audience on the edge of their seat by building suspense till the very end. Pearl Harbor was released on May 25, 2001 and can be streamed on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, Paramount +, etc.

The story is about two airforce pilots who get tangled up in a love triangle while also serving their duty by fighting enemies overseas. The main character Captain Rafe McCawley falls in love with a nurse before being sent off to deployment and his best friend Captain Danny Walker is left behind while he goes on this mission.

After some time has passed, his girlfriend finds comfort in the arms of his best friend, and all three eventually meet up again after not seeing each other for a long time.

This movie is a great choice if you´re interested in war, romance, drama, and adventure!

(The rating is PG-13 for intense war scenes, language, images of wounded, and sensuality.)

Hey! My name is Sarah Estes, I am 16, and a sophomore at Eastmont high school. A few things I enjoy in my free time are soccer, skiing, playing piano, listening to music, watching football with friends and family, and finally flying a Cessna-150. For my future career path, I plan to enroll in running start, graduate high school, and go to college. This is my first time writing for the scratching post :)
