Winter break is a time for Eastmont High School students to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. After 2 weeks off from school, the halls are buzzing with students talking about winter side quests, Christmas hauls, and a much needed break from all the fast paced work in Mr. Lehman’s class. This year, students took full advantage of the winter weather, and many participated in seasonal activities.
For many Eastmont students, winter break means hitting the slopes at Mission Ridge for some skiing and snowboarding.
Junior Story Laine said, “I went up to Mission almost every day to go skiing with friends and family.”
Not all students spend their break on the mountains though. Some preferred the Winter Chill for cozy activities and hanging out with friends.
Neftali Alfonso, a senior, stated, “I stayed in most of the break and watched movies with my friends.”
With winter break behind them, Eastmont High School students are ready to take on 2025 with renewed energy. Whether they’re preparing for finals, enjoying sports seasons, or engaging in club activities, the community spirit and drive for Success at Eastmont remains strong.
For now, it’s back to the classroom and the many opportunities that come with the new year.
