Dress code is a strict code that has been made in every school. Eastmont High school has a certain dress code For safety of the environment. It got stricter the school year or 2024.
Lydia Vaca who attends EHS states that ”I feel like the dress code isn’t necessary because everyone has their own rights to wear what they want.”
The dress code applies to both the regular school day and after school activities/athletics. It will be strictly enforced at the junior and high school levels. At the elementary level it will be enforced appropriately considering the age of the student.
Itza Saravia who attends EHS stated “the dress code is dumb. It unfair to the girls. Showing our stomach is not going to distract someone’s learning or our shoulders showing is not a sexual irruption.”
Mrs. Weber a staff at EHS said that “the dress code is something to keep everyone accountable and keep everyone on the same track.’’
The dress code got enforced this year with the midriff or showing a lot of your skin from shoulders down.
