Prom is one of the most anticipated dances of a person’s high school years. The fun of dress-hunting and finding dates in preparation for a night of memories and fun as a last hoorah before graduation.
This year, prom is taking place on May 10th in the main gym, and photos will be taken in the commons. The theme is flower garden. Doors will open at 8:30 and the dance will end at 11:00. Make sure to buy your ticket at the bookkeeping office! Tickets are $15 with an ASB card, or $20 without, at the door tickets will be sold for $30. Think ahead and grab your tickets as soon as possible.
What can seniors expect at prom this year? Senate teacher, Dane Gillin, says that there will be a “DJ, lights, and dancing! Entry into the dance will get you a root beer float and bottled water.” The art club is taking on the brunt of creating and setting up the commons area with decorations with some assistance from the Senate. The dance floor will be decorated by an outside company hired by the Senate.
Sounds like lots of fun! Remember to buy your tickets, and if inviting a student that doesn’t go to EHS you need to grab a form from the bookkeeping office and get it signed.
