On June 2nd EHS football players will begin practicing for the start of the football season.
The team will practice and workout all summer long. They are all super excited for the season to finally start. Recently, the players got their gear handouts, getting ready for the first practices.
When asked what they were excited about this season, junior Kymani Owens responded, “I’m excited to compete for a starting spot on varsity for field corner and to show I can compete on the varsity level.”
The team will have 12 practices before attending the CWU camp. The camp starts on June 28th and ends on July 1st. At camp, players will receive a ton of practice at their position while being coached by CWU coaches. The EHS players will also get the chance to prove to their coaches how good they are.
Junior Derek Plank says, “I’m excited to start playing a new position, I can’t wait to see how I do, and I’m excited to experiment on the field with different positions.”
