The Biography of a Sensation, James Theodore Corlett
James Theodore Corlett, better known as Jimmy, Jimmer-Jam, Jimmers, Jame, Teddy, Core, Number 24, and Son of Odin, is a fellow student at Eastmont High School with an enthralling background, interests, and involvement in the school and society.
The last name Corlett comes from Old Norse, meaning “Son of Thor,” which, coincidentally enough, explains his staggering stature, thundering voice, and god-like persona. James was born and raised in Wenatchee, Washington, by parents who were also a part of the Eastmont School District’s education system. His mother, better known as Ms. Church teaches Floral Design here at the high school, while his father had a past teaching job at the junior high school as a choir teacher. James’ mother is originally from southern Idaho, and his father is from the Spokane area. James is also related to the Jeremiah Corlett, who exceeds him in height and weight.
James has many interests, including skiing, skipping friend group functions, golfing, flexing in the mirror, and playing baseball. Some might believe James’ favorite color is black, “like the void in my heart,” but those who really know him know his favorite is green (coincidentally, the color of his eyes). His favorite genre of music is: “Drake, that’s it.”
James’ involvement with Eastmont is a dedicated one, as he has been close to being Junior President, he is a back-up, back-up outfielder on the varsity baseball team, and is the varsity running back for Eastmont football. His best piece of advice to leave the Eastmont student body with is: “The journey of 1,000 miles starts with one step.” James Corlett is a true sensation.
